Double Room
At the Luminale in Frankfurt a group of Dutch light designers showed experimental works. We presented Double Room, an interactive installation that combines 2D shapes with '3D virtual lighting'. The visitor controls the positions and colors of the lights with an iPad and sees the flat surfaces become three dimensional. Shadows seem to move in 3D and because their colors are mixed interesting new images appear all the time.
